Happy Mother’s Day 2020 to all the amazing mums out there. Sadly, this year we have to celebrate it while practicing social distancing responsibly, but our love and gratefulness for our mums won’t wither XOXO 🤰🤱👩‍👧‍👦

Fact: In Thailand, a “Phuang Malai” or a garland is typically given to honoured guests, relatives and loved ones as a sign of welcome, respect and good health. They can also be found as an offering to monks and Buddha’s in the temple, and deities in shrines.

However, garlands made of jasmine or “Mali”, in particular, are gifted to mothers on Mother's Day as the flower is said to represent a mother’s unconditional love.
